SUNDAYS
Sundays in France are still a family day. All businesses, banks and shops and Petrol/Gas stations will be closed. You can still find in small villages a bakery, flower shop and the odd grocery store open. There are some 24 hour fuel stations but not all take credit/debits cards. Play safe and make sure you fuel during the week between 9am and 7pm
EATING OUT
Unlike Paris the majority of places in Normandy open between 7pm and 10pm with the exceptions. Coffee is normally served without milk so be sure to ask for cafe au lait if you want milk. The bill is called l’addition.
