Normandy France home of Mont saint Michel, D Day invasion and Bayeux Tapestry

Sees

Sees is a town of medieval squares and beautiful timbered buildings over which the fine gothic cathedral rises. This gem of a cathedral was constructed between the 12th and 14th centuries, a wide porch leading on to a white-ceilinged interior, dominated by magnificent 13th century stained glass rose windows. Intricately carved pillars, adorned with grotesque faces, surround the transept. Return to Orne page
