The Tour de Prisonnier was erected by King Philippe Auguste , was used to house prisoners in the 16th Century, and graffiti etched by the former inmates can be seen in the stonework. On display in the eglise St-Gervais and St-Protais is an impressive Tree of Jesse. Return to Eure page
